oh bananas!

That's right, bananas! My second food, and so far my favorite! Papa tries to feed me slowly so I can get used to the texture- but I don't care about that! Just give me another spoonful! I'll dive for my bananas! However, mommy tells me the diaper afterwards is just not as grand of an experience. Sorry ma ma...

Welcome to the world of solid poop!

You know what happens when you give a strictly breastfed baby a little avacodo for 5 days straight?

Well, mommy was kind enough not to take a picture of it, but le'ts just say she kind of misses my breastfed baby poop! What a mess!!!

On a side note, I am enjoying my avacodo much more than mommy though I would. I even reach for the spoon and try to feed myself. Do I make a mess? You bet I do!

Avacodo in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy!

July 16th

Well today was the big day! Mommy researched and researched different homemade foods for me. With the help of many websites and mommy's amazing mommy friends she picked avocado (with breast milk too of course) for my first food. Do I like it? I am not sure! It's cold, thick, and comes from a thing called a spoon. Mommy said I'll get used to it, we shall see!

Sick? Again?

Oh boy- between not sleeping and teething I have no more room for being unhappy! Well for 4 days I had a terribly high fever. Mommy felt as though it wasn't serious (even though she kept an eye on me). Last time I was sick the doctor said it was either teething or a virus. Either way there was nothing to do able it but give Tylenol. This time my fever was really high, the highest at 103.5. Mommy checked my temperature every hour, and my rear end now HATES that cold thermometer!

After 36 hours of a fever, mommy breaks down and calls the doctor. We go in to be seen and after all the different tests and check the doctor tells mommy and I the same thing- maybe a virus, maybe teeth, maybe a combination of the two. My eyes, ears, nose, and throat look perfect though (along with the rest of me too) ;)

I promise mommy, one day you'll WANT me to wake you up all night long!

Rub and dub dub, there is a baby in the tub!

OK, well at least in the photo shoot there is one! We haven't quite mastered the real bathtub yet. Well- to be honest mommy and daddy haven't even tried that task yet! I still completely enjoy my little baby tub in the kitchen sink. Mommy said she isn't ready for me to be a big girl yet.
